Healthy Wealthy Boomers on Facebook! Memorial Day 2008 At Baby Boomer Life

Get Flash to see this player.

Good Morning Boomers!      (Why do I feel like Ty Pennington? )

It is a magnificent Memorial Day Weekend and I am so happy to be home with my hubby, my honey, the love of my life; and I am proud to be enjoying the freedom I take so much for granted.

On that note; let us not forget ,but rather remember with gratitude, the great Americans, the brave American men and women in military service to our country today and always from the inception of this great country to present day and every day of our future that freedom rings and our flag is flown with pride.  I love my country and I am proud to be an American.  I regret every life ever lost in the war machine and I pray that one day freedom will be "free" all over the world.

Enjoying my freedom.

I had a great morning so far as I spent some very joyful time plugging into high levels of gratitude this morning and then went to Facebook to say Hi to all my friends, family, and members of Healthy Wealthy Boomers on Facebook! group.

There was a great post there by Chantal Beaupre of SGR Club (of which I am a proud member and affiliate) , and I just HAD to share it with you along with some other thoughts on the day.

Please hit the audio button above at this point for a spontaneous and personal message from me.  In the meantime here is the Optimist's Creed from "The Secret" authors which was written by Christian D. Larson back in 1912 , then modified by "The Secret" in 2007. (I wonder what Wallace D. Wattles, the author of "The Science of Getting Rich" would think about all this if he were still here?")

This is good stuff!  Enjoy

The Secret TV : The Optimist's Creed    I really like what they did with this at the link.

Promise Yourself:

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words but in great deeds.

To live in faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
