Is A Raw Food Diet Good For Your Baby Boomer Life? Part 2
Continued from Part 1
A friend of ours at Former Fat Guy brought that video to my attention. Amazing, isn't it?
We don't have to be 300 or 400 pounds overweight to want to improve our health. We can simply determine to be a healthy size that makes us feel good. Even more importantly, we can be free of diseases like diabetes, hypertension aka high blood pressure, and many other diseases that seem to dramatically improve when we stop eating processed boxes of chemicals. Let's return to eating the food God gave us before there were microwaves and food manufacturing factories. What is it going to take for you? It is a very personal decision. It is also an act of real self respect.
Fortunately, the majority of us boomers had a great start in life with a regular homemade breakfasts and dinners and families that sat down to eat together almost every night of our childhood lives. I actually remember when the standard American diet was something to be proud of and none of us were fat either.
We have a good foundation. Now we can build on that even if we have lost our way and resorted to eating foods that taste good only because they are covered with tasty chemicals that actually cause us to be addicted and fat and radically unhealthy.
